EU-Kommission: Titandioxid-Pulver vermutlich krebserregend
Das Weißpigment Titandioxid ist die Basis für viele Wandfarben, der Stoff steckt in Sonnenschutzcremes und in vielen Lebensmitteln. Seit längerer Zeit gibt es eine Debatte darüber, ob Titandioxid gefährlich ist. Die EU hat nun ein weitreichendes Urteil gefällt, das im Frühjahr in Kraft treten könnte.
